The more contact telephone
numbers we have the better chance we have in contacting you. Please put down mobile, works, home, relative and any other telephone numbers. All this information is protected and only the agency gets to know your details. Please use the ONLINE CONTACT
system to talk to us and MY WORKSPACE option in the menu as this is
the means by which we will ask you if you want to be put forward for
auditions. Address and location details
Accents play a very important part in drama’s so if they want a woman with a Yorkshire accent they will search in the Yorkshire areas and not in London. Your day to day accent is therefore very important part of the CV and most people do not fill this column in, once again if you don't you will miss out. Also if we don't have your correct address how are we going to send your cheques to you? The audition Process and how it works
Once you have been selected by the agency but BEFORE your CV has been submitted to the casting directors/production companies we have to rapidly find out if you’re available for a possible audition and if you are successful; available for the filming dates. This is when we have to contact you (the most difficult procedure in the auditioning process) because seven times out of ten we cannot get hold of people quickly enough; therefore they miss the opportunity. We currently send the following INITIAL email to you We have received a casting that we would like to put you forward for. Please confirm that you would like us to put you forward ASAP and that you are available for the next 21 days. You can do this by going to your online page - looking in your "My workspace" and clicking Pre-Audition - then please click either the Interested or Not Interested buttons. You can monitor your progress in your "My workspace" by clicking on the various sections to see how far you have progressed. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL AS IT IS NOT ABLE TO RECEIVE EMAILS! ANY INFORMATION YOU NEED WILL BE IN YOUR WORKSPACE! Please NOTE after you have clicked the interested button the casting will disappear from your my workspace and will ONLY reappear if you have been accepted for audition! Eventually as an agent we get to know the people we are able to contact easily. So if you want to be selected make sure we can get hold of you AT VERY SHORT NOTICE! We get really annoyed with people who cannot drop everything at short notice for an audition so when applying please take this on board because when you let us down you are ALSO letting the reputation of the agency down. We may then decide we no longer wish to keep you on the books! Please do not apply if you are not going to be available at short notice. It's a hard business to get into and Casting directors expect you to put them first! If you don't others will. Once we have contacted you and you have confirmed you are available you will get a venue and time for your audition. Your audition often takes place the following day for commercials and adverts as they have to be cast really quickly. For dramas and films you can expect to be auditioned the following week or within a few days. For plays and theatre the audition process can be longer taking up to a couple of weeks to a month.
