Before you Apply to join please read ALL of this first as it will avoid disappointment later.

ADULTS - WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM THE NORTH OF ENGLAND - Lancashire, Yorkshire, North East, & LONDON ONLY! APPLICATIONS FROM ALL OTHER AREAS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AT PRESENT.

CHILDREN 15 years and below - WE ARE STILL OPEN TO APPLICATIONS FROM ALL AREAS.

Once you have filled in your ONLINE CV  you are automatically put into a waiting area where your CV and photo will be approved or not, normally within 10 working days but at times this may be longer. If you haven't heard from us in 28 days you may assume your application has been rejected, if this happens your logon will ALSO be disabled.

If we accept you we will send you an e-mail confirming you have been accepted into the agency. Please note we are only currently taking approximately 10% of applicants on.
The main reasons for rejection are normally that your application has not been filled in properly or more often completely. Or you do not have the experience and or attitude that we are looking for.

Your application

All applications are looked at and taken seriously. PLEASE be patient as we get many hundreds of applications and will get to you eventually.

We WILL automatically reject your application with NO notification if you have not as a minimum done ALL of the following:

1. Uploaded a reasonable photograph

2. Given us a contact mobile and landline telephone number

3. Provided an address or location details.

4. Provided details of your experience.

Why are these details important?

Photograph

Your photograph is extremely important for us to see if you are what we are looking for. We always know what casting is currently looking for so it will effect our decision to take you on or not. Also from a photograph they will be able to see if you are suitable for a part they have in mind. Please do not apply if you are not going to upload a photograph as you are wasting everyone's time.
The photograph needs to look professional, that is why we only accept head and shoulder shots in front of a plain background. However please DO NOT go and get professional photographs done for an application as we may reject you and wouldn't want you to incur any costs needlessly.

Contact Details

How do we get in contact with you when you have been selected to go for audition if we do not have any telephone numbers? We can’t so your application will be refused.

The more contact telephone numbers we have the better chance we have in contacting you.
Even put a relative’s telephone number down as they will help us track you down. So many people miss out because we are unable to contact them and it really is disappointing for you and for us.

Please put down mobile, works, home, relative and any other telephone numbers. All this information is protected and only the agency gets to know your details.

Please use the ONLINE CONTACT system to talk to us and MY WORKSPACE option in the menu as this is the means by which we will ask you if you want to be put forward for auditions.
Many people do not frequently check  MY WORKSPACE and then miss out again on opportunities, if you don't respond in time you simply won't get put forward it's as simple as that. Plus the system will pick up on this and  will eventually automatically delete your profile.

Address and location details

This is an online agency. It works by searching the database. Casting directors and production crews search for actors and actresses who live in areas and locations. For example if they are looking for 100 extra’s in the London area because filming is going to take place in this area they are not going to search in Scotland. They have to keep there costs down so they need to get people who live in the local area. Make sure you fill in your address details in the correct box's or you won't be selected.

Accents play a very important part in drama’s so if they want a woman with a Yorkshire accent they will search in the Yorkshire areas and not in London.

Your day to day accent is therefore very important part of the CV and most people do not fill this column in, once again if you don't you will miss out.

Also if we don't have your correct address how are we going to send your cheques to you?

The audition Process and how it works

We the agency will select your CV to be put forward to casting directors/production companies ONLY!

Once you have been selected by the agency but BEFORE your CV has been submitted to the casting directors/production companies we have to rapidly find out if you’re available for a possible audition and if you are successful; available for the filming dates. This is when we have to contact you (the most difficult procedure in the auditioning process) because seven times out of ten we cannot get hold of people quickly enough; therefore they miss the opportunity. We currently send the following INITIAL email to you

We have received a casting that we would like to put you forward for. Please confirm that you would like us to put you forward ASAP and that you are available for the next 21 days. You can do this by going to your online page - looking in your "My workspace" and clicking Pre-Audition - then please click either the Interested or Not Interested buttons. You can monitor your progress in your "My workspace" by clicking on the various sections to see how far you have progressed. PLEASE DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL AS IT IS NOT ABLE TO RECEIVE EMAILS! ANY INFORMATION YOU NEED WILL BE IN YOUR WORKSPACE!

Please NOTE after you have clicked the interested button the casting will disappear from your my workspace and will ONLY reappear if you have been accepted for audition!

Eventually as an agent we get to know the people we are able to contact easily. So if you want to be selected make sure we can get hold of you AT VERY SHORT NOTICE!

We get really annoyed with people who cannot drop everything at short notice for an audition so when applying please take this on board because when you let us down you are ALSO letting the reputation of the agency down. We may then decide we no longer wish to keep you on the books!

Please do not apply if you are not going to be available at short notice. It's a hard business to get into and Casting directors expect you to put them first! If you don't others will.

Once we have contacted you and you have confirmed you are available you will get a venue and time for your audition. Your audition often takes place the following day for commercials and adverts as they have to be cast really quickly. For dramas and films you can expect to be auditioned the following week or within a few days. For plays and theatre the audition process can be longer taking up to a couple of weeks to a month.
